| From a distance Arago seems relatively pleasant to the eye. However this large world possesses a dark side. Quite habitable for the most part, if a bit warm, Arago is rich in natural chemical compounds which bubble to the surface and create toxic 'swamps' all across the planet. Fortunately there are large enough land areas that are free of such danger zones to allow for substantial colonization to begin. Along with a developing chemical processing industry, a number of agricultural activities have taken root the most notable of which is a vibrant brewing industry which has developed the rich Arago Ale which has become quite popular throughout the republic. |
