| Originally conceived by Norse-Storm BattleMechs in the closing months of the FedCom Civil War, the Nightmare was intended to provide a low cost design in light of the severe economic hardships incurred by the Lyran Alliance during the conflict. Black Mango further aided the cash-strapped Norse Storm by offering technical aid as well as purchasing production rights to the design. Currently producing the original less expensive NS1 variant which features a standard fusion powerplant and primary armament of two Ultra-AC10s along with the ER PPC, Black Mango has also developed the upgraded G2P variant which offers increased long range firepower but at a substantial increase in cost. |
