| Welcome to the Blackhawks Armored Cavalry. As one of the oldest surviving mercenary units in the Inner Sphere, the Blackhawks have built a solid reputation over centuries of dependable service. Along with units such as the Eridani Light Horse and the Blue Star Irregulars among others, the Blackhawks was formed by a core of former units of the Star League Defense Force that chose not to join the majority of their SLDF comrades that set off with Gen. Aleksandr Kerensky's Exodus from the war ravaged Inner Sphere. Forming up as a mercenary force, the Blackhawks sought to preserve a small part of the legacy of the fallen Star League in their own way. Having seen action all across the human sphere throughout the long and brutal Succession Wars and now against the returning Clans of Kerensky, the Blackhawks have savored stunning victories as well as weathered the storms of heartbreaking defeats. Always emerging stronger from whatever the experience, the Blackhawks have well earned their rightful place among the premier military units of the Inner Sphere. |
