| A harsh forbidding world, Plaegus seems an unlikely site for human habitation Scorched by its giant sun and wracked with volcanic activity this world was long ignored. While scouting star systems for signs of Word of Blake activity, Blackhawk vessels reconned this seemingly barren rock and made a remarkable discovery. While Plaegus has no liquid surface water, it is dotted with 'lakes' and 'seas' of petroleum. With the formation of the Tortuga Republic, Plaegus was annexed and operations begun to exploit the vast petroleum deposits, enough to supply the Republic for centuries to come. |
